Old fibres with
new ambitions
A stitch in time. ReStitch works waste textiles, returned products and reclaimed soft materials into upholstery, interiors and objects, all made to a standard the original materials deserve.
What is ReStitch?
ReStitch creates upholstery and interior items from textiles condemned. We find the usable cloth and threads and build pieces around them.
Bringing waste back inside
Upholstered furniture, interior finishes and soft objects built from textiles that had already been written off.

How RESTITCH works
Rather than treating textile waste as a limitation, Refactory works with the usable qualities, colours, textures and irregularities of the material to create distinctive surfaces, upholstery and soft finished products.
Most of a return or damaged piece is still usable. Fabric and workmanship with years to go.
From rugs to chairs, fabrics are carefully recovered for reuse, ready for their next life.
Ideas take shape around the surviving material, limitation informing design.
New pieces are upholstered, stitched and finished together with other waste materials.
Using what’s left.
Creating what’s next
A returned rug with a worn corner is still mostly rug. We cut around the damage, keep what’s usable and build the piece around it. Wear becomes the finish, not the fault.
Turn waste into worth
Through skilled craft from joinery to stitching, materials are transformed into enduring, functional creations.
