Overview:

The Signal is a series of table lamps constructed from reclaimed treadmill motors and bicycle disc brakes, forming a silhouette reminiscent of a traditional turned lamp. Designed for residential, hospitality, and commercial environments, the piece blends familiarity with industrial rawness, turning mechanical waste into a refined lighting object.

How it was made

Treadmill motors were repurposed as the primary structural base. Bicycle disc brakes and additional reclaimed metal components were integrated to build up the vertical form. Elements were cleaned, balanced, and assembled to replicate the proportions of a classic lamp while maintaining visible mechanical identity.
