A new industry begins here
Our name is our mission – a factory that serves the earth, rather than stripping it.
Circular design, with provenance
The word ‘factory’ used to signify progress. Today, it too often stands for extraction, excess and irreversible damage.
We serve the Earth rather than strip it. We run on waste, not virgin supply.

Using only what's left
ReFactory is reversing the flow from raw, virgin materials to reuse. Whether metal, wood, plastic or textiles, we give waste a next life in the form of furniture, objects and installations, guided by one simple premise: to use what’s left.
What we work with

Built inside MYGroup’s circular recovery system.
ReFactory works exclusively with post-industrial and consumer waste recovered by MYGroup, one of the UK’s most trusted circular waste management companies.
MYGroup specialises in recovering the 'lost 25%' of 'unrecyclable material unfit for kerbside waste collections, building on 40 years of experience and innovation.
Every material we use has already passed through rigorous recovery processes designed to return waste to supply chains, all under one roof – ensuring full traceability and provenance.
Where the material
meets the method
Every stram starts the same way. Incoming waste is sorted by material and stripped back to its usable parts, until what's left is clean, separated and ready to work. From there, each material takes its own path.
We don’t see waste as a limitation, but a design brief. This is where we thrive: in the quirks, inconsistencies, and overlooked potential of discarded materials.
By working only with what’s left, limitation sparks creativity. A waste material or end-of-life product can ignite ideas a blank sheet never would.
The people behind the work
Behind every ReFactory piece is a multidisciplinary team skilled in design, joinery, fabrication, upholstery and more. From digital modelling to hand-finishing, every joint, finish and fix is carefully considered. Every detail is deliberate.

Turn waste into worth
Through skilled craft from joinery to stitching, materials are transformed into enduring, functional creations.
